
Susan Broderick
Susan Broderick is a nationally respected expert in criminal and juvenile justice and a woman in long-term recovery. She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan (1989–2003) and later served with the National District Attorneys Association and as an Assistant Research Professor at Georgetown University. Drawing from both professional and personal experience, Susan works with jurisdictions to implement prevention and diversion programs, improve drug court and probation practices, and support reentry. She also advocates for attorney wellness and speaks widely on addiction and recovery in the justice system. Susan serves on the Advisory Board of Harvard’s Recovery Research Institute and is Chairwoman of the Board for The Phoenix, a nonprofit promoting sober, active living.
