Amy Galyon

Amy Galyon has served as Program Director for the Blount County Recovery Court since 2010, leading its growth through best practices, community partnerships, and expanded services—including the launch of a Men’s Transitional Living House through the Recovery Court Foundation, which she helped establish. She holds a B.S. in Sociology and an A.S. in Criminal Justice from Tennessee Technological University. Amy’s career spans roles in human services, law enforcement, education, and probation, giving her a broad perspective on justice and recovery. She is known for her dedication to helping others succeed and continues to impact her community through leadership, advocacy, and innovation in recovery services. Amy lives in Blount County with her husband, Retired Chief Master Sergeant Stephen Galyon, and their three children.
